Can I rollover school year Lesson credits to summer?

You may use any unused lesson credits from the school year to book summer lessons. Once the lesson package is used up, summer tuition will continue to be billed four lessons at a time on a rolling basis (i.e., until each group of four is “used up”), just like during the school year. Then, you’ll continue to pay your tuition on a rolling basis in four-lesson increments into the academic year.

What is the cancellation policy for Summer Lessons?

You may book lessons up to 24 hours in advance. You may also cancel lessons without penalty up to 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged.

What if I need to reschedule? 

You can cancel and reschedule your lessons directly through your student portal on Fons (instructions on how here). Or if you’d like assistance, feel free to contact our office. Lessons can be rescheduled with no penalty as long as the reschedule is 24 hours in advance. A courtesy text or email to your teacher (for short notice) is always a nice idea too!

How do I know which location to go to? 

Your lesson appointment should indicate your location, but you may also confirm with your instructor before your lesson if you’re unsure! The office is also happy to help anytime during summer office hours, M-Thu, 10am-3pm.

Why isn't my teacher showing up IN the scheduler?

Either your teacher has elected not to teach this summer or has not yet given us their availability. Feel free to take lessons with any of our other teachers. Summer is a great time to get some lessons with those teachers who are completely booked during the school year. You can read up on all our teachers here.

Can I schedule in-home lessons?

We do have a limited number of in-home lessons available. Please contact the office to see what in-home lessons may be available over summer. We reserve the right to cancel lessons that are not in the zip codes we serve.
