Seeking an administrator with strong customer service, communication, interpersonal and sales skills to assist with client care and administrative duties.

Music school administrator

Compensation: $13-$18/hour (based on experience)

Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm, with occasional additional weekend hours for special events and performances throughout the year.

Eclectic Music is a small local business in the heart of Atlanta that proudly hosts a few hundred students, a few dozen teachers, three intown music studios and almost two decade's worth of lessons, classes, parties, jam sessions, workshops, camps, recitals, and accidentally dropping picks inside of guitars. At Eclectic Music, we believe effort is more important than talent, age is just a number, and the highest  purpose of music is to uplift the human soul.

We are seeking an easy-going, dedicated person with a clear and kind communication style and organizational skills that emphasize clarity and simplicity. No music experience is necessary for this position, simply an interest in working administratively in the arts and an appreciation for the meaning of music in our lives!

Duties and responsibilities include; communication with clients and staff, organization + upkeep of systems, event planning and general administration.

SEEKING

A personable candidate who has;

  • An enjoyment in connecting with others in-person, over the phone and online

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Immaculate attention to detail, and care in noticing the little things

  • clear, kind and concise communication style

  • A client-centered sales approach that is organic and easy-going, one based on believing in the right fit for a client over quotas or needing to sell anything

  • A comfort and appreciation for receiving feedback

  • Independent initiative and strong self-management

  • A natural ease and a positive outlook on the world with an eye towards the creative

  • Strong organizational thinking and an ability to both create and upkeep streamlined systems and processes

  • Ability to type at least 55 WPM with high accuracy

  • Software systems savvy or an interest in learning new cloud-based software
