MUSIC CAMP COUNSELOR
Compensation: $595-850/week (depending on position)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm

ABOUT
Eclectic Music is a small local business in the heart of Atlanta that proudly hosts a few hundred students, a few dozen teachers, three intown studios, and two decade's worth of lessons, classes, parties, jam sessions, workshops, camps, recitals, and accidentally dropping picks inside of guitars.
We are seeking easy-going, kind musicians and music educators with experience in classroom management to help teach our summer camps. If helping create a safe place for young musicians to have fun, explore, and learn to play together sounds like music to your ears, please apply.
SEEKING
A personable teaching artist who has;
Experience working with students in group settings
Basic playing skills on at least one of the following instruments: voice, piano, uke, guitar, bass, glockenspiel, drums
An interest in working with a team of awesome fellow music educators inspiring the youth of Atlanta!
POSITION DETAILS
Camp Counselors work in teams of two with groups of 15 or less to form house bands. Each week (inspired by themes like Surf Rock, Video Games, Grunge, Songwriting, Festivals and more) our “band managers” help take a group of kids from first rehearsal to final performance. All culminating in an all-star performance for friends and family for a Friday Showcase.
An average day for camp counselors might look like:
8:00am daily prep + camp staff meeting
8:30am morning traditions
9:00am-12pm morning rehearsals
Noon-1pm lunch and a trip the park
1-2:30pm afternoon rehearsals
2:30pm afternoon traditions
3pm daily wrap-up
We know leading camps is tough and rewarding work. So our camp counselors are supported with training, background checks, CPR certification and curriculum development support provided by Eclectic Music. Our office staff also offers day-to-day, on-site support for counselors through Camp Directors, Camp Coordinators and Camp Managers. Break time provided. Buy-in meal delivery for lunches and a team of counselors on your side available every day.
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
